Brand assets

The mark, and how to use it.

Everything a printer, embroiderer or wrap installer needs to reproduce the Simrock identity correctly. If anything here is unclear, ask before you produce.

01 / Colour

Four values. No others.

Use these values directly. Never sample colour from a screen, a screenshot or a PDF preview.

Simrock Red
#E9161B
Ink
#0F0F0F
Badge Charcoal
#2B2B2B
Paper
#FFFFFF

Red is a punctuation colour. It lands on the period and the badge, and nowhere else by default. Roughly 90% paper, 8% ink, 2% red — if a surface reads as a red surface, the ratio is wrong.

Pantone, 3M vinyl and embroidery thread references have not yet been matched. Match against a physical swatch in daylight and confirm with us before any production run.
02 / Clear space and minimum size
Clear space, all four sides
25% of badge diameter
Wordmark minimum
90px on screen, 1 in printed
Badge minimum, screen
24px
Badge minimum, embroidered
2 in

Nothing enters the clear space — no type, no rule, no image edge. Below 90px the period closes against the k; use the badge instead. Below 2 in the badge interior will not stitch cleanly; use the wordmark alone.

03 / Apparel and headwear
Left chest
Wordmark 3.5 in wide, centred 7 in below shoulder high point. One colour, white on dark.
Full back
Wordmark 11 in wide, 4 in below collar seam. Ink with red period on light.
Red garment
Wordmark 8 in wide, centred. All white — the period drops the red here.
Cap front panel
Wordmark 3.75 in wide, satin stitch, one colour, centred on the seam.
Cap side panel or beanie cuff
Badge, 2 in diameter minimum.
04 / Vehicle wrap
Side panel
Wordmark 34 in wide
Rear quarter
Badge 14 in
Tailgate or rear door
Wordmark 24 in, centred
Edge clearance
Minimum 4 in from any panel edge, seam, handle or wheel arch

The mark never crosses a body gap or a glass line. Body wrap is full white or full ink only — there is no red body wrap.

05 / Misuse

Never stretch, condense, rotate or arc the mark. Never place it on a mid tone — white, ink or red only. Never recolour the period, except on a red garment where it goes white. Never reset the wordmark in a text face: it is artwork, not type.

The one-colour badges use an SVG mask containing black and white values internally. Those drive the knockout and are not brand colours. Do not change them.
